There are other things that may come into it too, but try these first. 'Weak AC' often helps, but comes with downsides and is usually indicative of other issues. Hz too can be an issue with cheapo poorly-regulated gensets, but just a rev tweak with a screwdriver can often fix that. Good Luck..
Turns out system doesn’t like the power coming from the generator even though voltage and hertz are in normal range, connected another generator to the system and it all works fine.
have you check your generator has ground to neutral link at the socket
I should add that the generator and solar were working fine together for a year and a half , tgen one day system just doesn’t like the generator power anymore.
I would suspect that something has changed with the generator output (frequency out of whack, voltage fluctuation, sine wave not clean any more) and the multi is doing it's job.
