MPPT/Multiplus production/consumption capability disbalance

Probably a stupid question, but still.

I have a 48/5000 Multiplus 2, MPPT RS 450/200 and a stack of Pylontech US5000.

It seems like my array can produce much more than I expected, in fact my legacy inverter was the limiting factor. What happens when the batteries are fully charged and the sun is shining? I presume, BMS will refuse overcharging, so even if the multiplus can only feed 5000 back to the grid, everything should be safe and sound? So, I presume that MPPT RS will start current-limiting its output?

Thanks!

There are some great training videos that will properly explain the system to you.

In a properly configured ESS, the battery manages the system. The chargers will only produce what is required to either charge, or supply loads.

If you are feeding-in, then they will put surplus into the grid, up to the inverters power/temperature limits.
