This is a general question. The EV Charging Station is working fine but the car has a specific behaviour:
The vehicle to be charged is a Smart #1 that was delivered in Q1 2024. During my search online, I came across that this vehicle also seems to have problems communicating with other wallboxes. In particular, the signaling of status C according to IEC 62196 Type 2 is often described as a problem here. Apparently the voltage for status signaling (+6V) often deviates above the normal range. Some wallbox manufacturers have apparently already adjusted the tolerances for detection for their customers.
Does Victron have a solution for this? Maybe other cars are also affected.
