DC solar
Solis 3 phase G5 AC solar.
76kwh batteries
So today I’ve noticed something strange, which my system is off-grid during the day to maximum solar usage with no grid bleed.
Batteries charged up to 100%, and frequency went upto limit to shutdown solar 53hz and the sun went down, frequency shifted down to 52.8-6hz dancing every few seconds (solis display showed static 52.69hz); however my batteries were being used and charge state dropped to 94% but the frequency was still being held to keep off the AC solar. DC solar was on but limited due to direction.
I had to connect to the grid to pull the frequency down to 50hz and get both AC and DC solar to work.
Any ideas why this happened?
Update: I'm getting really bad light brightness changes (COB integrated downlight) - both on grid and off grid. Never had this before.
