Temperature Sensor

Help Please

I want to add a temperature sensor to a 6 year old system.

System components as follows -

Multiplus 5000 (VE bus)

3 x BlueSolar Charger MPPT 150/70 (VE.Direct)

Color Control GX

BMV-700 (VE Direct)

Am i correct in thinking, i need to swap the BMV to a 702 as the temp reading will be communicated to the mppt's via VE Direct. If i install a temp sensor to the Multiplus the temp reading won't be communicated to the mppts because the comms are VE Bus between GX and Multiplus only.

Please correct me if i'm wrong?

I believe that as the Multiplus temperature sensor is available to the GX device then this can be set as the source temperature for STS (share temperature sensor) in DVCC and all devices on the system will use this. You should already be using DVCC and SCS and SVS from the BMV.
