I have a new system with the following components:
VE Cerbo GX, Lynx Smart BMS, 4x 200ah lithium batteries, Smart Solar Charger 30/100, 2x 50a Orion Chargers, and the MultiPlus II 12/3000/120-50 120v.
I'm keeping the BMS and solar turned on while I continue to build out my van.
The solar charger keeps the battery bank charged up to 13.5 volts during the day consistent with the voltage charging limit, which is set to 13.5 automatically. Is this correct? I would have thought that the batteries should charge up to more than 14 volts, e.g., 14.2 volts. I don't understand charging cycles, and any links to resources that explain charging cycles, charging limits, changing limits in DVCC, etc., would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Also, if anyone knows how to add a tile or tiles for the Orions in the VRM Dashboard diagram, so that they appear like my solar charger appears, that would be great!
