Afternoon all, Distributor/Installer we have now had a number of customers that we have installed a 75/15 and after a period of operating normally, they stop operating, no blue tooth and we have found a total power cycle off on (disconnect battery and solar) is the only way to get them going again.
We have today received info from a trade client who have had approx 10 units do the same.
The difference with the trade customer, immediately after install, they were prompted to upgrade firmware 1.61 to 1.63.
After the firmware updated, they get the conformation of successfull upgrade, the units then shut down, no LED's displayed.
They found the only thing to work is to disconnect battery and solar, reconnect.
They note at this point the firmware has not updated, they repeat the firmware update.
On the second cycle the unit stays connected and operates correctly.
We have only seen this behaviour in the 75/15 SmartSolar.
Interested to hear what others have observed.
