We have a 6kw solax hybrid grid tie inverter and plan to have a separate grid tie inverter for 2 micro hydro turbines.
The problem we have is if the grid goes down we don't produce power. The solax has a 2kw ups function for essential circuits but that isn't ideal.
I've seen posts suggesting we could use a multiplus with the solax connected to the ac out of the multiplus to create an island. Obviously we would need to disconnect from the grid. Is there a way to automate this process?
