About 10 days ago I updated the SmartSolar 100/20 charger to version 1.63 and since then charging hasn't worked properly. For some reason, the MPPT refuses to do bulk charging. I tried manually updating to version 1.64 and downgrading to 1.61 but it didn't solve the issue (although sometimes after the update it does go into bulk charging for a minute before switching to absorption).
Thanks for the reply. It looks like it's not a firmware update, but a problem with a fuse. It was melted, but not burned. I'm not sure why that is, but replacing the fuse seems to have fixed the issue.
The difference in reported Voltage suggests a disconnect between the mppt and the battery. Maybe in the wiring or the bms has shut the gate. It's even reported as 'Not Plugged', but that might be a bms thing.
Firmware always gets the blame, but it's probably coincidental.
