How can i improve the efficiency of the battery charging (AGM) with my EasySolar system?

Equipment: 1 x EasySolar 24/3000/70-50 Color Control GX; 2 x AGM 110 Ah 12V; 4 x PV Panel 330 Wp; Grid connected

Settings: EES with feed-in excess solarcharger power, phase compensation; min SOC 20%; Batterylife state: self-consumption; Grid setpoint 0W, scheduled charging disabled

Situation:

I have just checked the data of the first 2 weeks of operation: I have

- solar production: 79,5 kWh

- direct use of solar: 17,5 kWh

- solar to batterie: 25,5 kWh

- solar to grid: 36,5 kWh

- total consumption: 37,0 kWh

- direct from solar: 17,5 kWh

- from grid: 1,5 kWh

- from batterie: 8,0 kWh

So I put 25,5 kWh into the batterie and got only 8 kWh out! This is a poor efficiency of ~ 30%!

Is there any change in the settings possible to improbe this rate?

sorry no typo. The 8,0 kWh deliverd from the battery is correct!

Here are some more information from the settings in the VE configure:

General tab:

- enable battery monitor: selected

- Battery type: Gel/AGM, Victron Energy, Gel Exide A200

- state of charge when Bulk finished: 85%

- battery capacity: 110 Ah

- charge efficiency: 0.80

Charger tab:

- Enable charger: selected

- Storage mode: selected

- Charge curve: Adaptive + BatterySafe

- Absorption voltage: 28.80 V

- Float voltage: 27.60 V

- Charge current 52 A

- Repeated absorption time: 1.00 hr

- Repeated absorption interval: 7.00 Days

- Maximum absorption time: 8 Hr

ESS Assistant:

- Battery system: System uses Gel or AGM batteries

- The battery capacity of the system is : 110 Ah

- Sustain voltage during first 24 h of sustain: 23.00 V

- Sustain voltage after 24 hours: 25.00 V

- cut off voltage for a discharge current of: 0.005 C = 24.00 V; 0.25 C = 23.30 V; 0.7 C = 22.80 V; 2 c = 22.40 V

- inverting is allowed again when voltage rises : 0.60 V above cut-off(0)

- Are there PV inverters connected on the AC out of the Multi/Quattro system?: No

Hi XR. I note too that your consumption figures don't balance. If that 'from batterie' figure was 18.0 instead of 8.0 it would. And would also give you ~70% batt efficiency, typical of what I see with Pb's.

Clerical error? Maybe not, but needs asking.. :)
