Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, I have an Easysolar 1600/12 which has a VenusOS Large OS running on a Pi 4 - and generally speaking No problems overall.
Loving the Updated Sustain functionality to try get the most out of Solar and Battery power during good Solar days. However some time in the last couple of months, I have noticed it wasn't switching over to Prefer Renewable by itself. I also couldn't tell it to Go to Sustain mode manually. However in order to trigger it, I have to go into the Advanced Settings of the Remote Console and choose to "Restart the VE.Bus system"
Once that is done - it instantly Ignores AC (as Battery is definitely at 100%) - and continues to discharge as normal to the value I set in the Sustain config - 50%
I will then find that by tomorrow perhaps, as it will only get through 1 Renewable cycle today due to heading into Winter - it will use AC to run the Load, and use Solar for the Battery charge over the next couple of days. But then NOT switch back to using the Battery and Solar unless I restart the VE.Bus service again.
Any thoughts on this?
