Solar MPPT Controller bluetooth and MK3 communications

I have a MPPT 150/85 & a MPPT 150/100 controller. A couple of days ago I noticed that a software and firmware update was available for both. Prior to this event, communications through the bluetooth and viewing of solar power production were operational and functioning. Now the firmware & boot loader versions are different for both.

MPPT 150/85

Firmware 2.49v

Bootloader 1.16v


MPPT 150/100

Firmware v3.15

Bootloader v1.06


The 150/100 has stopped production and the 150/85 will not load the monitoring screen. Whats’ up? I need a direction for repairs. Help.

Try to power cycle both MPPT.

Disconnect PV first, disconnect battery, wait a minute or two, connect battery first and PV last.
