It seesm to me that in the USA since we cannot be ESS, then having that sustain mode is a nice feature. It would be exceptionally useful if we could adjust that by means of MQTT.
The reason is that since we can reasonably project the solar output from the next days weather, and we cannot sell back to the grid, we need to adjust the SOC in order to create the available capacity in the batteries.
While we can enable/disable the ACInput dynamically, this almost gets us there, but what we really need to do is adjust the sustain voltage within a range in order to approach a SOC and once there, set that voltage value to what it is at the moment the SOC has been reached.
Perhaps?
