Difference in last batch, MPPT 75/15, cut out after 3 to 4 days

Issue with Smart Solar 75/15 controller, cut our after 3 to 4 days and no return. Must add, normal day temperature around 40+ degrees C. All placed in a plastic box on pole fore CCTV camera control. Batteries used Gel 100A, 220W solar panel. All settings on controller according to the book.

would hope that there is air flow or the unit will overheat

Thanks Paul, yes. Will the unit then shut down permanently or 'restart' when cooled down? Saw it an operate in temperatures of up to 60 degrees C.
