We’ve recently installed an EasySolar-II 5kVA MPPT 250/100 GX with a 8kWh BYD Battery-Box Premium LVS as well as a Cerbo GX+GX Touch 50 for enhanced data visuals. So far everything appearing to be working correctly.
Once everything was configured, We are able to see all relevant information on the EasySolar's internal display. On the GX Touch we can also see all relevant information except for solar production/PV Charger data. (Note: Solar production data is visible on the remote console via VRM.)
We have observed that inside the EasySolar is a Smart Solar MPPT unit that has one VE.direct port with one side of a VE.direct cable connected to it and the other side of the cable connected to a VE.direct port on an internal board that we assume is the GX Device.
Q: Is there a way to configure settings so that solar production data can also show on the GX Touch or does the side of the VE.direct cable connected to the internal board need to be disconnected from it and instead a longer VE.direct cable be connected to a VE.direct port on the Cerbo GX?
