Hello and thanks in advance.
Thumbing through Victron’s WIRING UNLIMITED web doc and a PDF (rev 07) .
Was looking at chapters 4.1 & 2.7 in regards to correct cable selection.
Also their pdf wire chart for battery cables.
I do not see any mention of the cables I was considering as I search this community page or those docs.
The cables are the:
DLO cable and
orange M-class welding cable (different than the common K-class).
Although I do believe I see the orange “M” cable in a photo from the Wiring doc…
Has anyone used either?
Between those two cables...
What has better performance and longevity for connecting two Quattros to the Lynx Distributor between these two 4/0 cable options?
What has better performance and longevity for connecting T-Fused cables from LFP to Lynx bus-bar? Would be 4/0 as well.
Links below are to a company that sells both type cables.
DLO (2,000V rated, tinned, only 551 strands).
M-Class welding cable (600v rated, over 5,225 strands)

Other thought was using compression or solder.
Has anyone used solder lugs?
Which is better?
I have 16-ton press and I have a torch.
I was looking at pre-filled lugs from Remy.
So....
the Tinned Solder 4/0 lugs (some have said they are heavier/thicker… dunno??). Photo has wrong lug size
Vs
Bare copper compression
Vs
Tinned copper compression
