Extention of system with second mppt rs 450 100
- Connect second RS 450/100 to DC bus with suitably sized cables.
- Assuming you have VE.Can communications with a Cerbo or other GX device. Remove blue terminator plug from first RS450/100 and move to second RS450/100. Connect second RS450/100 to first RS450/100 with CAT5 ethernet cable.
- Connect second array to second RS450/100 with suitably sized cables.
I don't think the VE.Can MPPT have to be the same model, so it should work just like a RS 450/100.
The lower voltage of the 250/100 will require lower array voltage but can use much higher current arrays.
Connections would otherwise be the same.
