Shore/hookup power with Multi-1 (NOT Multi-2)

I'm sure the answer is somewhere but with Multi-2 often referred to as a plain Multi its hard to be sure.

Is it legal to use shore power/hookup to a Multi-1 (NOT a Multi-2)?

There are quite a few boats and campers with Multi-1 battery systems on board. Are these actually UK legal and if so what are the required settings to be so? I imagine "Feed-in is absolutely not wanted," should be set, but should anything else?

Obviously generator/max power drain etc needs setting.

Yes the original Multi / Quattro can be used for shore connection in the UK, but as is the same for the Multi II / Quattro II you cannot use them for an ESS / grid feed in system when connected via an unpluggable shore lead (16A Ceeform etc)

The reason being, for a fraction of a second the live pins are still energised and could potentially be feeding back into the grid (Shore) until the Multi etc realise it is disconnected on the AC in and the relays open to disconnect. So on shore power it is not safe to use a grid code or feed back into the grid using ESS.

You can still connect to the mains (Shore), use DVCC and Ignore AC assistants to regulate how and when to use the connection, and now also solar priority, https://www.victronenergy.com/live/ve.bus:solar-and-wind-priority but as it's effectively an off grid set up we can't use all the functionality of ESS as we could electrocute someone who unplugs the connection.
