To measure both batteries together you'll need to join both 2 negative terminal wires to the 'Battery' terminal of the shunt. Then the 'Load' terminal goes to 'Van'. If 'Van' is a chassis earth return then that's ok too.

You could actually remove the rhs negative wire to Van, it isn't necessary.
Can the shunt be installed on the front battery (point A) on a px, which is much easier to do?Screenshot 2024-03-21 at 10.55.20 PM.png
