Recently installed a 12V 30A 3 output charger to charge 1. engine battery (1 x 110Ah lead acid), 2. house batteries (3 x 110Ah AGM in parallel), and 3. auxiliary battery (1 x 75Ah lead acid), along with a BMV712 and shunt.
I've noticed when there is load on the house batteries, and the charger is in storage mode, charger current fluctuates between 0A and (up to) 5A. I'm assuming this is the charger compensating for the voltage drop and change in current when load is applied.
Has any one experienced this/ does anyone have a solution to smooth out the spikes in current?
