I have a Ve.can network consisting of a skylla-i, MG energy smartlink, cerbo, and a wakespeed ws500. The boat also has a n2k network for maretron monitoring devices. I would like to get my can data onto my n2k network, but as my ve.can network sits, there are no open ve.can ports on any of my devices because they are all daisy chained with a terminator in each end as required.
I plan to bridge the two networks with an NBE100.
is it OK to just take one of the ve.can cables, cut it, break the wires out, and then connect the canh canl from the ve.can network to the proper pins on the n2k 5 pin connector to connect to my nbe100?
