Is the Orion XS 12-12V 50A able to (trickle) charge the starter battery?
Output/ Auxilary battery is fully charged, e.g. by solar PV or shore power/ grid charger.
Does the Orion XS 12-12V 50A trickle charge the Input/ Starter battery? With how many amps current?
Sry I cannot find this information in the datasheed and manual.
Or is it necessary to install a seperate PV MPPT or 230V grid charger to keep the starter battery (trickle) charged?
Jump Start or better quick charge option?
Input/ Starter battery is empty, engine does not start. Output/ Auxilliary battery is full.
Is it possible to help yourself with e.g. a 50A back charge button on Cerbo GX or APP.
Just push the button, drink a tea and wait a couple of minutes to bach charge the Input/ Starter battery and start the vehicle.
(Like the jumper knob under the driver seat in an Ambulance or Firetruck, which normally switch Starter PB battery and Auxilliary PB battery parallel with a relay.)
