Hi, we have just had whole new system installed on our catamaran. We would prefer to see the readouts on the touch screen and app in amps rather than kw. Can it be changed?

Might be a solution.
GuiMods does provide amps but not as the main number. Victron's gui-v2 has an option to display the main number as amps rather than watts but it's not really ready for use on real systems.
For what it is worth, watts was Victron's choice from the beginning since it is an equivalent number regardless of the voltage. 100 amps at 24 volts is 2,400 watts which is also equivalent to 20 amps at 120 volts. So when comparing DC vs AC numbers, watts requires no voltage calculations. 2,400 watts going to AC out is (approximately) 2,400 watts coming from the battery regardless of voltages.
I have seen people really confused: wondering why the AC current coming is is not the same as the charging current going into the battery. So to use amps as the primary number, you need a calculator to compare numbers.
