System:
I have an Multi RS solar. It connects to a Cerbo GX via the VE.CAN bus. The batteries are 6 Hong Huao Sheng 5 KWh units. Their BMS is fed into the BMS-CAN inputs of the Cerbo; solar power comes ino the RS as well as the grid into AC.in. The RS activates the grid connection in case the SOC drops below 50% and disconnects above a set battery voltage. This time of year (winter) the solar input is not sufficient to keep the batteries charged, so every other day or so the grid connection is activated.
My question:
In case the charging is controlled by the RS (DVCC off) how is the SOC in the RS determined: is it calculated using the Peukert formula or is it obtained from the SOC available in the Cerbo?
