Hi,
I am looking into acquiring a victron Centaur 12V 20A charger to be powered by an old Honda EX650 generator. From past experience I know the generator needs to be loaded softly so as not to stall, even when warm, and a sudden load spike is likely to stall it. Will the centaur smoothly ranp up the output charge over a 10s interval or so or just suddenly spike up to full output when you connect it?
Second question, how much buzzing and efficiency and charge rate will I get with a non pure sine wave? I have tested a brand new victron IP67 charger that could only charge at half of its rated output (even in Bulk) with a poor sinewave.
Thanks,
