What is that black thing stuck inside my SmartSolar 75/15 MPPT?

I thought it was a vedirect port but it is blocked.

I have 2 bigger MPPTs but I wanted 1 for a smaller panel thought it comes with a ve.direct but I don't know why it is supposed to have it blocked.

Mine doesnt even look like the pic it is broken off and not sticking out just 2 black plastic blocking the 2 middle pins...

It's a jumper link. See below from the manual which sits pretty unread... :-)) Happens to all.
