Using Blue Smart IP65 to test voltage

Until I get my circuit tester back, can I safely use my Victron Blue Smart 12V/15A (via App) to test voltage of a lead acid battery I wish to regularly monitor (post charge) to see if it holds charge or is cactus? (It goes into a charge cycle light when briefly connected.)

Yes you could use it as a volt meter that way to monitor the battery voltage, it wont do any harm .
