I would like to install a SmartSolar MPPT and a BMV in my RV for the house battery bank. I would also like to install an SBS to provide temperature to the MPPT for compensation while sensing starter battery voltage at B2 on the BMV shunt. However I have seen some writings that seem to indicate that this will not work because when a BMV is in the network the MPPT only looks for temperature input at B2 of the shunt and ignores the SBS temp info. Meaning, if I want temperature compensation and I have a BMV in the network my only choice is to use B2 for temperature and not voltage. Is this correct or would my original plan using the SBS for temp and B2 for voltage work?
