Hi,
I currently have three batteries in my car. My starter and AGM are connected via a redarc BCDC. In the rear I have a lithium battery. What I would like to do is have my solar panel charge both the AGM and lithium via a Y splitter. I have a Renogy charge controller for the lithium battery and currently i manually plug the solar panel into whichever battery needs charge. The only way that I charge the lithium is with the solar panel.
Could someone kindly show me a wiring diagram of how to achieve this with the Li-ct? Is it simply a matter of having it between the AGM and lithium battery? Also given that the starter and AGM are connected already, and that the AGM will charge via the alternator when necessary, will adding the Li-ct mean the lithium will at times charge via the alternator as it is now a tri battery system?
