I would like to implement the following structure.
Generator 2.2 kW 230 V AC with pure sine wave, is intended to feed a transformer 230V / 48 V 3kVA. The 48V AC output is intended to be connected to a Victron MPPT 150/35 with a bridge rectifier and capacitors connected to charge a 48V LiFePO4 battery. Is that possible?
You'd need a large capacitor (at least 60,000 uF). Rectified DC voltage would be about 68 volts with about 5 volts of ripple assuming 50 Hz and 30 amps into the input side of the MPPT (35 amps into the battery bank).
Not sure if that ripple would be acceptable to the MPPT so you might need multiple capacitors of that size.
You might need a way to slowly charge the capacitor bank to avoid overloading the generator. You might look at Victron AC chargers as an alternative. Could be less expensive and all the design details have already been worked out.

Is the issue with ripple only with conventional transormers? Are LiFePO4 chargers then designed with converter technology and high frequencies?
I fear that the DC ripple after the rectifier an a whatever size of capacitor can disturb the MPPT algorithm. Because if a solar source is connected the only thing that leads to a voltage change, is the current, that is controlled by the MPPT charger it selves. Why not connecting the generator to a multi, because that's developed for this?
