I may have found an ESS charging bug.
Conditions:
Keep batteries charged
Feed in excess solar power is OFF
DVCC is ON
In Float
Power available from bluesolar chargers exceeds what loads are using.
The float voltage, measured by BMV, appears to be 0.4V higher than it should be. (Yes, I've allowed for the temp compensation). This is consistent with an explanation from Izac of how keep batteries charged works but in this case the multi is not able to pull the voltage down. Switching to.optimized mode appears to correct the float voltage.
If the cause is not immediately obvious to Izac after reading my description, I'm happy to do more exhaustive testing.
