Hey all,
I have been getting seemly random temp alarms in VRM from my 12/1600 multiplus happening during idle with power passthrough.
I have my system setup so the mutliplus only charges the batteries to 13.6v and so usually by about 11am the MPPT has fully taken over charging and the multiplus just sits in idle passthru mode.
I have my multiplus configured to do a max of 40A charge current and I have yet to get a temp alarm while it is actually charging, only seems to happen afterward. like today and a couple of other times.
See the attached photo of my vrm app, you will see the multiplus in idle while the alarm is active and doesnt feel very hot to the touch, less than 200 watts passing through.
Can anyone see something I am missing that would explain this?
Things to note, I live in Far North Queensland, Australia, it is about 35c here at the moment during the day but the equipment has extra ventilation.
