Hi,
I just got an Inverter 48/375 and the fan seems to run high speed, always. I do not have any load plugged in. I tested it now for like one hour, did some restarts and an update. But as soon as I connect the inverter to the Battery supply (LI-Ion 48V, max. 57V) the fan starts running and never stops (ambient temperature is 15°C).
Is this normal? What shall I do?

Thank you for the report and apologies for the issue.
We have discovered in some models of the Inverter VE.Direct the transistor which powers the fan fails.
This causes the fan to run at 100%.This component is only used in 48Volt 250VA, 375VA and 500VA VE.Direct Inverters.
This does not pose a safety concern.
Please contact your Victron dealer for a remedy, there was a tech note sent about what can be done to repair centres and distributors who have shipped these products.
