mppt charger / solar panel configuration

Solar Charge Controller MPPT 150/45


Solar Panels : Longi 580 watts

VOC: 52.21 STC / 49.02 NOCT

ISC: 14.20 STC / 11.47 NOCT


I am considering to use a panel configuration of 3s4p. Whilst it appears that the amps can be accommodated by the controller, the VOC however is near the max threshold of the conroller depending on whether I am using STC or NOCT.

@Arran Pritchard STC temperature is @ 25c. Below 25c the panel Voc increases.

Please use the Victron mppt calculator.
