Hello colleagues,
We need to make a 24 volt system without an inverter (there are no AC consumers on site), with gel batteries, BMV-702 and Cerbo GX. We want to measure the midpoint voltage and battery temperature to compensate for the charge voltage. As far as I understand, the BMV-702 allows you to do only one of these. My question: if we connect the temperature sensor ASS000001000 (for Quattro, MulitPlus & GX Device) to Cerbo, and in the settings we select the “battery” role for it, will the data from it be able to influence the charge voltage from the MPPT? Or will it just be a passive temperature measurement?
