Hello everyone,
After having purchased a MultiPlus II 5000/48 and a Pylontech US5000 battery, I’ve noticed that it can take a relatively fair amount of time for the battery to wake up and start charging when it’s in the idle state. On a cloudy day, this can happen quite often. To counter this, it would be nice to have an ESS option to set the minimum charge current or power. I can set this to 200 W to make sure the battery will never go to idle and will ramp up quicker when there’s a surplus of solar power.
I am not aware of such a feature at the moment. Please let me know if this is already possible and if not, where to send feature requests to. Especially if others can see the benefits of such a feature too.
EDITED
For context - during the time I'd like to use this feature, the system is running in ESS #7 where the system will only charge - the discharge limit is set to zero.
Cheers, Bob.
