I am adding microhydro into my system this fall. The watts I'm looking to pull from it are up to 500w or so. My first question is what charge controller I need for my 24v system to add this new "array" of my microhydro into the system.
My second question is when the microhydro has charged up the batteries, I want it to auto switch to sending power to my dump load (electric hot water tank) and then back again to charging the batteries when they deplete. Is there a victron component that will allow me to do this?
I'm running the 24v 3000w multiplus, cerbo gx and two other charge controllers (one for the solar array and one controlling the streetlights which are my landscape lights). So the charge controller for the microhydro would be the third charge controller added into the system.
