Smart solar MPPT 100/50 chassis grounding

There is clearly a ground screw point on the chassis. But I read the online manual as saying that only the 100/30 model should be chassis grounded. I presume I am reading the manual incorrectly and the 100/50 can be chassis grounded. Is this correct?
