I've setup a BMV 700 with my solar system and I'm having trouble with the SOC reseting to 100% prematurely while the MPPT is in bulk phase in the morning. Recently I haven't used much power during the night and the batteries are showing around 95-97% full by the morning. The BMV shows power going in fine, it will bulk and show the SOC rising, then at some point reset to 100% before absorption phase has begun on the MPPT.
I have already changed settings was advised by the manual but can't seem to get them perfectly dialled in to stop this happening every morning.
I've got 2 x 12v lithium 100Ah (max charge 14.6v) batteries in series, Victron MPPT 100/20 48v controller and the BMV 700.
MPPT settings:
Here are my BMV settings: These are the settings that I changed for my setup as advised in the manual for solar and lithium.
battery capacity: 100Ah
battery charge voltage: 28.2 v
tail current: 01.0%
charged detection time: 10 min
p exponent: 1.05
charge efficiency: 99%
What else can I try to resolve this, I've already dropped the tail current to .5% and it didn't do the trick, any advice?
Thank you
