MPPT 75/15 - Silica Sand escaping from between cover and base plate....

I have seen this same issue on this forum in 2 other similar posts, however with mine the base plate has not come off, the "Silica Sand" utilised for cooling is escaping from the gap between the cover and the base plate, this I'm sure will impede the cooling of this device. Here in Australia it gets very hot, thus I'm somewhat hesitate to utilise the device. I purchased the item in Feb 2019 and hoping it's still under warrently. Thanks in advance for any feedback provided...
