Using generator with Multiplus II - 3000kw + 2x 2.5kw Pylontech

Hello,

I am looking for help to understand why the generator (https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-pg3800adv-euro5-3kva--dual-voltage-2301/) I have doesn't work properly with the inverter.

I am trying to charge the batteries (Pylontech US3000C) via the inverter to boost them now Autumn is here.

Anyone else had any experience charging batteries with a Multiplus II 3kw?

Some generators have problems connecting to Victron systems due to power quality.

Does your inverter change into charge mode, or just ignore the generator? some more details about the behavior are deeded to help diagnose the problem.

Typical problems are incorrect voltage or frequency, or poor harmonic content. More esoteric faults include ground leakage problems in the generator.

The multiplus also has a protection log that does lend some light on this issue.
