This should not be a problem, this battery has a 'normal' voltage to be charged, and disconnects itself if there is a problem.
At the moment only 28.8 or 29.4 volt is possible.
or l-ion setting: 27.4V.
So I have to come back on my previous message: yes you can use it, but not to optimally charge it.
You say not at the moment, does this mean that possibly the algorithm could be modified in a future firmware update?
Yes, there are plans, but there is no date for that.
