WhatsApp Image 2023-09-14 at 20.17.59.jpegI just changed a mppt regulator, from the solar panel (2x185Wp) comes almost 20V but has no charging... Wiring is the same as was before with Epever mppt. The setting is already set on LiFePo4 battery, 24V system. Can someday advise what can be the issue? Thank you
If you click on the 'Why is the charger off?' Message, it will tell you.
But it's because the input voltage to the MPPT is lower than the battery. It must be 5V higher than battery before it starts charging. I.e. about 32V input.
I'm wondering if things are connected properly.
@klaudiagyogyfiova as @kevgermany highlighted the 5v differential is required to trigger charging. As you have 2 x 185w panels, if these are not already connected in series, you could do so to up the PV input voltage and therefore increase beyond 5v the differential between the PV input voltage and the 24v battery bank voltage, and therefore trigger charging by the MPPT.
