3-4 days of trying and I finally got it , and it ended up simple... i think.. it works so it must be right.
my Pointer Cal constant for my Elecrow 10.1" HDMI USB Touch - capacitive...
Comes up as a QDTech MPI 1001 1280X800 60hz
-65536 -1280 -1080 65536 1280 800 0 , thats all, as easy as that.. etc/ nano pointercal
once it was working I upgraded to latest firmware,V3.01... had a scare , it overwrote the pointercal file
back to original... but all good now.
No need for ts_calibrate for capacitive screens, actually wont work...maybe some will...
with ts_calibrate i got close only by dragging my finger around...
my config.txt file is simple too by the screen manual , no overlays
