We are working on an installation with an EasySolar-II GX 48V 3000VA.
From what I understand in the documentation, the temperature sensor supplied with the unit (ASS000001000) must be connected to the Temp terminals on the unit itself.
Now to my question: I was wondering if it is possible to connect a second identical temperature sensor to one of the analog AUX inputs of the unit. We would want to do this for general monitoring of a second set of battery cells in the system.
The reason why I'm asking this is because of the documentation provided for the AC Current Sensor (https://www.victronenergy.com/live/ac_current_sensor:start). In this documentation it states that the current sensor may be connected to the AUX OR Temp terminals of the MultiPlus-II (which is integrated into the EasySolar-II GX). Which begs the question whether the AUX input may also be used for temperature sensing as both of these inputs seem to be capable of reading analog signals.
