I have almost brand new Rolls 6CS7P batteries. I have old solar panels that I was to replace. I didn’t know the condition of the panels until I install SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 controller. I left the boat in Greece unattended with the SmartSolar connected and putting out about 6 amps. All the other mains were off at the master switches. I left with 570AH in the batteries and could see about 6A going in at full sun max. On return my house batteries are flat. So flat the Victron won’t turn charging on. No smart comments unless you know what Rolls batteries are. The last set lasted 12 years and only died because they run dry over 2-3 years of COVID bans and inability to travel. In general I think I can bring the Rolls from the dead as I did with last set. I just want to trick the too smart charger to turn on. I need a big dumb charger.
