I'm considering purchasing an Inverter and a DC - DC converter to install on a fishing boat, and I would like to have a technical opinion on the model to buy. I need to power a system where the total loads do not exceed 5kW (LED lights, domestic refrigerator, TV, and small appliances). The inverter will be powered by 2 batteries of 12V * 225Ah connected in series (24V). The batteries will be charged through a DC - DC converter connected to two sources:
• A 24V variable current alternator connected to the engine's shaft.
• Solar panels connected to their own inverter. Considering these requirements, could you recommend suitable models for the inverter and DC - DC converter? Thank you
