In my boat I have 3 batteries - all 12V,
- starter battery 95ah
- usage battery 110ah
- truster battery 85ah
I have connected the SmartShunt between (start/usage) and the load, mppt is connected to the usage battery. Smartshunt and mppt is in "VE. Smart network" mode. There is a "BEP - Digital Voltage Sensing Relay DVSR" between the the batteries. Its engages at 13.2 VDC and disengages at 12.7 VDC.
Question:
- Is the smartshunt mounted in the correct place ?
- What should I put as the battery capacity ?
- Other settings in the SmartShunt i should set? (Charged votage etc.)
- For the Mppt - what is the correct Max charge current in settings?
- Battery preset; i have "Position 2.. is that correct?
- If using Expert mode, what would my settings be?
- Equalization, enable it? or run manual equalization?
