yesterday the batteries were fully charged by mppt. I connected the 230v mains and the bluesmart ip22 turned on.
With adaptive absorption.
I had read in the manual that the absorption time is proportional to the duration of the bulk phase. and a minimum of 30 minutes.
Well, the bulk phase obviously lasted 2 seconds.
but the absorption did not last 30 minutes.
at 47 minutes it still didn't switch to floating.
So I set a tail current of 3.2A (178Ah agm), and then it switched to floating.
Why didn't the absorption finish in 30 minutes?
What is the relationship between bulk phase and absorption?
The absorption time multiplier based on the starting voltage is mentioned in the smartsolar manual.
But in the bluesmart ip22 manual the relationship between bulk and absorption phase is not mentioned.
