Victron Orion 24v to 12v 25a converter

I have 4 x 12v 100Ah sealed agm batteries setup as 24v and would like to run a Victron 12/1200 inverter. Would the Victron Orion 24v to 12v 25a converter be suitable?

1200W @ 12V is about 100A. The converter is not suitable. Better to get a 24V unit.

I guess there is a specific reason for a 12V unit. If you explain, we can suggest solutions.

It was just that I have the 12V unit from my previous setup and was hoping to save on costs, but as you’ve explained a 24V unit is obviously the way to go.
